So how did Artisio come to be?
Prior to launching Artisio, Berdia, Irakli, Zura and Guga all met each other at different points of their IT careers and soon realised they shared the same vision - the untapped possibilities of technology, building genuinely market disrupting software solutions and a burning passion to take on the world.
Between 2003 - 2013 – a simpler time before Artisio exploded onto the scene – Our founder, Berdia Qamarauli, was delivering online tech solutions as CTO for a UK based international auction house. In 2014, fate intervened and Berdia met Irakli, who was managing a software development company alongside his two partners: Zura & Guga.
Their synergy and shared vision was electric from the very start and they soon teamed up, starting a larger, more ambitious, software business.
Prior to the idea of Artisio being born, the Team had worked on different software development projects, creating and delivering enterprise management solutions for blue chip companies in the financial sector as well as auction businesses around the world.

This was the start of the Artisio story!
While working with various auction companies over numerous tech projects, the Team realised that current auction management systems were not meeting their client’s needs in an increasingly online marketplace.
The concept of front to back auction software was in dire need of modernisation and none of the existing solutions offered all the features and integrations needed to support a modern, client facing business. From this idea... Artisio was born!
